about you & me and what "used to be"
I know many years has passed
& everything we had been through
...i thought we would last.
I guess it is true that every good thing
Comes to an end.
We were young & naive
After you had told me you loved me
it took me a minute to believe
i Believed you ...
What we had was TRUE love,
but you wasn't my true love
I remember everything you told me
everything that was said & given
& what you helped me to be
& yes you did me wrong but you didn't break my heart
and at that point, I made that choice ,
I was wrong & you were right from the start
DEEP DOWN INSIDE I apologize
Just cause I love you & you love me
that didn't mean that we were meant to be.
& in the end
you did your thing
& i did my Thang.
all I wanted was for you to "Give me More"
..but what more could you do?
It's just this one question i have
Do u ever think of me anymore
